Help Us Fight Crime

We require your help.
The Sheriff has indicated that reducing litter and street beautification can directly result in less crime. Increasing awareness and inspiring pride in one's neighborhood and home can directly result in less crime. Violent crime in the Valley is up 400%, and showing no signs of slowing. Though we already vigorously undertake street cleaning, we will be aggressively increasing our efforts and invite your assistance in this Karma Yoga through several retreat intensives.
The intensives train in the physical and mental skills required to re-establish justice in the community. Walking, sitting, stretching and other Hatha Yoga will be paired with exercises in Bhakti, Jnana and Karma Yoga. Two locations are selected to assist in this training: a street we have adopted in the name of another non-profit, and also a prairie dog town which lies on the margin of urban development near the Ashram. After this intensive, you will be able to undertake considerably more effective community leadership.
We also invite you to undertake teacher training and join our efforts at the Mesa County Jail, and elsewhere in the Valley, as there is still need for additional meditation and yoga instructors.
The retreats and the training are free of cost. Please feel free to forward this to whoever you think may be interested. They may reach us at (970) 778 2835 or
