Artha Veda 30 and 9

May all beings protect Me, watch and ward Me. Let not death reach Me from the hands of My kin, nor from the hands of strangers, nor indeed any other being. Listen, I trust Myself to all of You, all the plants, the animals, all the beings in the waters, the air, the heavens, the earth: I trust Myself to all the beings; preserve Me happily, and for the the length of My service conduct Me. Let Me escape from all manners of Death but Old Age. Share with Me this My sacrifice, that you and I may be maintained and sustained, that you may better support Me in My struggle, that My opponents might prostrate beneath My feet. Uplift Me before all beings. Please, recognize My rank and honor, that I may hold rank and honor too among my kin, among all beings. I have assumed My duty of sacrifice, and given all hope, glory and wealth.
